Students

We find it important to contribute to the education of future midwives. That is why Mundo is a teaching practice. Midwifery students from Amsterdam and Rotterdam can do their internship at our practice.

Students will assist pregnancy check-ups, childbirth and postpartum consults. Introductory information about our students is always available at the practice.

During their first-year internship, students will mainly observe how we work, so they can see what midwifery is all about. Second-year students will also observe, but they will gradually start performing actions themselves as well. Third-year students will work more and more independently. The fourth year is also the students' last year, and so the students will start running their own office hours and supervise deliveries. One of the midwives will of course always be present and they will also be ultimately responsible.

If you have any objections to having a student present or to being attended by a student, you can always tell us, and of course we will always consider your wishes.
