Besides the usual obstetric care, we also offer:

  • Fertility or 'child wish' consultations for women who want to get pregnant;
  • A home visit during the pregnancy, for pregnant women who choose to have a home birth;
  • Information meetings about giving birth and breastfeeding;
  • One-to-one care during labour;
  • Support for pregnant women who want to stop smoking;
  • Individual coaching meetings, before, during, and after the pregnancy;
  • Acupuncture;
  • Aromatherapy and massage;
  • Breastfeeding support and advice.

Our Practice

Mundo Midwives is a midwifery practice for women from all over the world. Respect for differences in culture and belief is one of the key values of our practice.

We provide obstetric care in the following areas of The Hague: City Centre, Benoordenhout, Bezuidenhout, Geuzenkwartier, Statenkwartier, Zeeheldenkwartier, Duinoord, Duindorp, Scheveningen, Stationsbuurt, Laakkwartier, Schilderswijk, and Transvaal. We also cover parts of the areas Moerwijk, Spoorwijk, and Escamp. Our midwives speak Dutch, English, and German fluently. If your knowledge of these languages is insufficient, we use the Tolkentelefoon: a (free) telephone translation service. Our cooperation with gynaecologists of all three hospitals in The Hague is something that we value highly. We are an easily accessible practice.
